Don't you just hate feeling sharp little "breaks" when you run your hand through your hair?Buy a popular brand of hair oil. Whether or not you own one, you must have a bottle.

Warm the bottle up. Roll the bottle in between the palms of your hand for at least 10 minutes. Or, if you're impatient, there's an alternate method you could do:
* Fill a pitcher (plastic) with hot water. (Be careful that it isn't too hot!)
* Dip the oil into the pitcher, and wait for at least 2 minutes.
* Bring it up again, and gently shake it close to you ear. If you hear something going "swish swish," then it's fine to use. If there is no sound at all, then dip again for about a 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Hop into the shower with your shampoo, conditioner, and hair oil. Use a jaw clip for the hair if you don't want shampoo/conditioned hair on your back, but this is optional.Pour out some oil into you palm. Be sure it's not filling up the space in your entire palm, just a very small puddle. If you are not sure what to do, then try to imagine putting a dot on top a dime.Rub the oil. This includes on the bottom ends of your hair, left side, and right side. Keep putting on oil until hair is somewhat slick. After that, count 60 seconds, and wash off.

Shampoo. Use whatever shampoo that you favor, and apply that onto your hair. After massaging and lathering, wait 60 seconds, and then wash off.Condition. Be sure not to use a whole gob, now! This causes hair to be very oily. Squeeze out a drop that would fit your palm. To do that, hold out your hand in a position like you would be taking a palmful of something. Then, just lather and massage like regular. Then wait 60 seconds, and wash off.Finish your bath. Then, absorb hair in a regular bath towel or a microfiber hair towel. It's optional if you could either blow-dry or let it naturally dry. Use a comb, instead of a brush, to untangle your hair. After an hour or two, run a hand through your hair, and see if there are any rough ends.

Day 2
Hop into the shower and wash off oil, without any shampoo, or conditioner. Keep rinsing until your hair doesn't feel slick anymore.Take your bath towel and dry your hair, partially, not all the way. Put on hair oil. Place hair oil on the same places as you put it the day before. Wait 60 seconds. Then rinse off.

Shampoo. Use your regular shampoo and lather your hair, massage it. Wait 60 seconds, then rinse off shampoo.Condition. Apply conditioner to your hair, but don't apply too much. After lathering and massaging wait 60 seconds, then rinse off. Finish your bath. Blow dry or naturally dry your hair. Be sure to use a comb that has not been used by someone else.

Well I woke up today feeling lazy, felt like i don't want to do anything. As I was getting ready walking with my daughter to school, saw that the weather so gloomy, after I came back home and ready to get busy...start snowing! Can you believe that?Snow on April it is so unusual.. what can I say weather is so unpredictable at time.

Afternoon, it quit snowing the after an hour or so, started snowing again. It is very chilly outside, poor perennial plants I'd planted 2 weeks ago. Anyway, that is the part of my Thursday so far.

Then my daughter came home and head out to the Humane Society to adopt a puppy. Saw a dog that we all liked. It is Spaniel/Terrier Mix, 7 months old. Kids are very happy hope I would not end up taking care of it. Or else they will be in a big kind of trouble.

Kids are back to school today, they had a hard time waking up and back to normal routine. Yesterday my son came home from Church spring break trip for 5 days, he enjoyed being away from home. But today crankiness came alive, because they weren't ready for spring break to be over, beside of that the weather is not cooperating. IT has been snowing mix with rain this morning, seem like it slow down now but still cloudy and the rain wanted to come down still.

Well, its Monday and all we can do is right it off and hoping for a great day tomorrow. At least that is how I feel, got to go and get me some hot of cup of coffee and chill for a little bit and work. Happy Monday everyone!

Don't have anything to wear? Look again, but this time be creative. You can be fashionable using your existing wardrobe. Here's how:

Attach long ribbons to a dress and weave them around your waistline.

1.Be simple, but elegant. Add a single string of pearls.
3.Add a blouse to a sleeveless sundress.
4.Wear a sleeveless blouse as a vest.
5.Wear a vest without a blouse.
6.Wear a short top or long blouse over a long skirt.
7.Wear a long blouse over a tank top or camisole.
8.Wear a blouse as a lightweight jacket.
9.Wear a shawl in the evening.
10.Wear a wide belt around the waist of a blouse, dress, sweater or jacket.
11.Wear a couple of thin belts around your waistline at the same time.
12.Wear leggings beneath a short skirt, long shirt or long sweater.
13.Roll up jeans to capri length and wear sandals or cool knee socks.
14.Lace or braid several long ribbons through the belt loops of your pants. Tie them to the side or at the front.
15.Wear scarves around your neck, as a headband or belt.
16.Wear a scarf of a different length. Tie the knot of a scarf close to your neck, below your neckline or let it flow freely.
17.Pin small hair bows onto your shoes or the cuffs of your shirt. Pin a small bow to the top of your shirt pocket.

No matter what you wear, put on a smile.Recycle fabrics to decorate your clothes. Make ribbons, bows or fabric flowers. Add a pocket, cuff, trim or ruffle.

Jacques Who is Jacques D'Azur? D'Azur was something of a cad and a famous socialite. In the build up to the Cannes film festival, his name has been cropping up. It's said that he always found admiring glances on the red carpet - especially when he turned up at the premiere of Les Quatre Cents Coups in 1959 with members of a Yamamena tribe, whom he had reportedly been living with in Venezuela for a couple of years prior.

The infamous playboy must have caused quite a stir with that little trick. Apparently, after that, he made Hermes scarves incredibly popular.

Looking on the Facebook fan page dedicated to him, it certainly seems that Jacques had an incredible and colorful life. He was an actor, producer and everything else .

Hi guys, it is Sky Watch Friday once again, BTW Happy Friday with you all. Friday started with freezing cold morning, the ground is frozen solid. But the sky is clear, that it is going to be a sunny day all day like yesterday. Usually we still have a bunch of snow in February. But hey look at the sky... it's clear and its like spring already. There's some snow on the top of the mountain but down low ground there's none, which is very unusual on some part of WA State.

Anyway, here is my entry for Sky watch Friday "The Clear Sky". Join us Sky Watching every Friday. Happy Sky watching Friday you all.

When a child is tormented by fear of ghosts and monsters or anything evil, you can...Listen to your child. Make sure they feel understood and not judged. Assure them that everybody has fears. Offer to walk with the child through the house/room/ area that the child associates fear with. Open all the doors, look under the bed - use light to show that nothing is there. If your child is frightened by sounds or shadowy images, discuss what could actually be causing these sounds in a nonjudgemental way.

Encourage the child to tell the "bad thing" to get out/ assert the child's ownership of their personal spaceRead happy positive stories every night to your child before they go to bed.Make sure your child knows they are loved and you will always be there to protect them. Do not let your child watch movies with a PG rating. If the movie is PG - read WHY it is PG. If there are thematic/ scary parts - do not let your child watch until they are older.

You can put some lavender in a spray bottle. Spray this into the air and tell the child it will help to get rid of those negative things that are bothering them. Lavender is a very calming herb and will settle the child. It is also an action that the child will see, and help calm them.A nice cup of warm milk in a special teacup can help at night, add a tea bag that is not caffeine based, such as vanilla rooibos tea to make a nice flavor.Numerous books and movies are available about friendly ghosts and monsters.Read or watch some of these with your child to help them imagine non-threatening creatures that might visit their room at night.

Get rid of all scary items in your home.
Sometimes unreasonable fears may have some basis in the child being molested or some other past trauma. If so, seek professional help.

To most of us, cell phones are a life saver, but rude cell phone users are the thorns in our sides. They're pretty much anywhere that there's a cell phone signal. The thing is, we could all probably use a little primer on cell phone etiquette. After all, most people who are being annoying don't realize they're being annoying. Could that be you?

Keep a 10-foot (3 meter) distance between you and anyone else whenever you talk on your phone. No exceptions. Don't talk too loudly. Generally you don't have to shout in the microphone to be heard on the other end.Don't multi-task. Don't make calls while driving, shopping, banking, waiting in line, or doing pretty much anything that involves interacting with other human beings.

Don't talk on the phone in any enclosed spaces, even if you're more than 10 feet away from anyone. They can still hear you (because it's an enclosed space) and usually, they're forced to just sit there and listen.

* Bathrooms
* Elevators
* Waiting rooms
* Auditoriums
* Taxicabs
* Buses
* Trains

Don't even let your phone ring in any of the following settings:

* Meetings
* Libraries
* Museums
* Places of worship
* School
* Lectures
* During live performances
* Funerals
* Weddings
* Movie theaters
* Work Place
Don't use your phone when having a meal with someone. Ideally, you should turn it off entirely. If you're anticipating an important call, let the person you're with know beforehand that you're expecting a call that you'll need to take. No matter what, don't hold a conversation at the table; step away, follow Step 1, and don't stay away any longer than you would for a bathroom break. Never, ever text at the table, even if the conversation died down.Turn off your phone at the movie theater. Even if your phone is on vibrate, people can hear it during quiet parts of the movie. And even if they can't, the light from your phone's screen is very distracting. Don't check the time, don't check your text messages; just turn it off until the movie is over.

Learn to text. When you're in an enclosed space, or you can't put yourself 10 feet out of everyone's way, it's inappropriate to talk but it's acceptable to receive and send text messages. In such cases, keep the following rules of texting etiquette in mind: Use the vibrate feature instead of an audible text alert. Only text when you're standing still or sitting and out of anyone's way. Don't text while you walk or drive. Don't text while doing anything that requires you to be attentive. A good example would be while waiting at an intersection for the pedestrian signal. Don't text while at a meeting or conference when you should be attentive to the guest speaker.Don't discuss personal things while waiting at an airport - believe me, people can hear you and don't really want to know about your date last night!Be aware of people around you if you insist on talking on your cellphone whilst walking through the mall - please don't run into them!

A lot of children grow up badly and immaturely because of their parent's maturity. This article tells you how to not get into bad habits and raise your children well.

Don't drink a lot. The more you drink, the more your child will think it's okay to. It is fine to drink once in a while, but not a lot and when you do drink, drink only 1 bottle of beer. Don't swear. Swearing will get you know where and your kids will think that it's okay to swear at others.Don't use sexual language. Using sexual language is okay when you tell your children about sex or the facts of life, but in general don't talk like that. Your children will develop a habit of talking like that.

Never hit anyone or use violence on anyone. Sometimes kids grow up seeing their parents beating people or themselves. Then as they get older they think it's okay to beat someone up. Never use violence on ANYONE. Yelling sometimes is fine, but not a lot. Discipline them. When your kids do something wrong, use a punishment that fits the crime. For example if they hit someone, a good punishment would be for them to have a small time-out and take away their favorite things. If you do unreasonable or violent punishments, such as getting beaten, they will learn to do the same.Don't smoke. If your kids see you smoke sometimes, it is possible that if you do so too much in front of them, they could possibly try to smoke. They could get hurt and very sick from doing this, so be careful.

It is a good and smart idea to explain to your kids the difference between wrong and right. Telling them not to do things will make it clearer to them then if you just didn't do or say anything at all.

A little bit after lunch, I got a call from my daughter's school that she had an accident, she actually cut her middle fingertip with a scissor while making something for Valentines day. The nurse said that she need to be taken to the Dr. because her cut was kind of deep and it was bleeding so hard. I rush down to the school clinic and helped the nurse wrapped and put pressure on my daughter's hand so that the bleeding will slowed down. I rush her to the clinic down town Cashmere WA. Luckily they are not very busy and they took my daughter right in. The staffs cleaned her hand right away. Seeing your kids in pain was not fun at all. I tried real hard to calm my nerve down for my daughter's sake but watching the blood and the cut and how painful my daughter was going through was so tough for me that I was about to faint. I told the nurse and the Dr. that I was about to faint. They quickly set me down and gave me oranges juice to drink. I told my daughter's, instead of me comforting her....she will be comforting me.

On the other hand, after we got home from the Dr. I got two message from my son, that he needed me to bring him changing clothes for he slipped on the mud while they were playing at school after lunch. I was not sure if how long the messages was sitting there, but when I got to school, I saw my son waiting for me and he was covered with mud. Apparently the back of the middle school was so muddy and him and his friend did not expected that the back play ground was very muddy. After I dropped off my son's changing clothes , waited for him to give me his muddy clothes and rush back home. Good thing the middle school is just 2 blocks away from my house.

I guess today was just not the happy day for us. Hope tomorrow will be different, All I can do is hope anyway, because we never know what tomorrow will bring us!

A warm

MellowYellowMondayBadge

My enrty for mellow yellow monday is Bendaroos. My daughter got this for her birthday, this is one among many gifts that she got for her birthday. Bendaroos is amazing flexible building sticks. You can draw, build, decorate & transform ordinary objects into incredible fun toys.

With bendaroos kids will have so much to do. They stick and stay and then lift away fro non stop play! No glue, no stains, no mess and use it again and again. My daughter cannot stop playing with this. Your kids might like it too. This is my entry for my mellow yellow monday. To join the Mellow yellow Monday, just click the badge above.
