Is other than .....my daughter Avory! My daughter entered a coloring contest at Martin's Market which is a convenient store like Fred Myers. The drawing was posted and the judges had to picked which was the better coloring made. And my daughter won it! Yehey! She has been complaining to me about not winning anything everytime she entered the contest....and now she won. Her excitement was beyond explain. When I was talking to the lady on the phone who was letting me know that my daughter won the contest. Avory jumped up and down, running back and fort around the house. She was so excited.

Anyway she won $50.00 gift card from Toys R us. Tomorrow we are planning to shop online. Sharing some photos with you all. Of course my camera's date,year, month and time still all messed up. I will try to fix it tonight, so that it will not complicate the photos anymore.

Post Holiday Syndrome is defined as the syndrome which people suffer when they have spent a wonderful holiday and no longer have a functional daily rhythm. As defined by the DSM IV, holiday blues or holiday depression are terms commonly used to depict mental distress occurring after the winter holidays and festival. The term used here is "blues” since it describes mild mental distress, which is a commonly occurring phenomenon when we are dealing with daily life problems. The more severe form of this is referred as depression since it is an illness of persistent sadness, and is not attributed to normal holiday reaction. Below are the common steps to get rid of post holiday stressors:

Always make healthy choices – like choose healthy food, healthy drinks, and have some good amount of exercise. This act as a mood enhancer and pumps more positive energy in you. Good food and exercise is associated with mood relaxing hormones. Make realistic resolutions. We are not perfect people and we are living in a world which is far more imperfect. So refrain from making too sensitive or harsh resolutions. Stick to something which is realistic. The goals should be reasonable and most importantly achievable. If we take a weight loss as an example, targeting for a size zero is unrealistic, but looking for 1lb in a span of week seems to be more achievable.

Take help from professionals - be it for finance or be it for oozing the ill feelings out of the mind. This is important for those who were not planning well enough for the holidays and are now deep down in the debt rack. Search to your past for getting more on what turns you on and what turns you off. If you have spent period after last 2 holidays in despair, then the chances of this post holiday period in despair are high. Look carefully about what you did last time and what relaxed you. Generally speaking these problems can be prevented with simple steps and are no cause of major concern.Don't hesitate to reach out to professional medical help if the feeling persists for more than 3 weeks.

A person suffering from Post Holiday Syndrome will behave in erratic fashion for the initial weeks after the holiday like waking at night and sleeping during the day. It is attributed to heavy responsibilities an enjoying which people do during holidays. According to a study conducted in Spain, it is estimated that 35 % Spanish workers face post holiday syndrome once they are back to routine work. It is the discomfort which causes the individual's inability to adapt back to work after the holidays.
