Hi guys, it is Sky Watch Friday once again, BTW Happy Friday with you all. Friday started with freezing cold morning, the ground is frozen solid. But the sky is clear, that it is going to be a sunny day all day like yesterday. Usually we still have a bunch of snow in February. But hey look at the sky... it's clear and its like spring already. There's some snow on the top of the mountain but down low ground there's none, which is very unusual on some part of WA State.
Anyway, here is my entry for Sky watch Friday "The Clear Sky". Join us Sky Watching every Friday. Happy Sky watching Friday you all.

When a child is tormented by fear of ghosts and monsters or anything evil, you can...Listen to your child. Make sure they feel understood and not judged. Assure them that everybody has fears. Offer to walk with the child through the house/room/ area that the child associates fear with. Open all the doors, look under the bed - use light to show that nothing is there. If your child is frightened by sounds or shadowy images, discuss what could actually be causing these sounds in a nonjudgemental way.
Encourage the child to tell the "bad thing" to get out/ assert the child's ownership of their personal spaceRead happy positive stories every night to your child before they go to bed.Make sure your child knows they are loved and you will always be there to protect them. Do not let your child watch movies with a PG rating. If the movie is PG - read WHY it is PG. If there are thematic/ scary parts - do not let your child watch until they are older.
You can put some lavender in a spray bottle. Spray this into the air and tell the child it will help to get rid of those negative things that are bothering them. Lavender is a very calming herb and will settle the child. It is also an action that the child will see, and help calm them.A nice cup of warm milk in a special teacup can help at night, add a tea bag that is not caffeine based, such as vanilla rooibos tea to make a nice flavor.Numerous books and movies are available about friendly ghosts and monsters.Read or watch some of these with your child to help them imagine non-threatening creatures that might visit their room at night.
Get rid of all scary items in your home.
Sometimes unreasonable fears may have some basis in the child being molested or some other past trauma. If so, seek professional help.

To most of us, cell phones are a life saver, but rude cell phone users are the thorns in our sides. They're pretty much anywhere that there's a cell phone signal. The thing is, we could all probably use a little primer on cell phone etiquette. After all, most people who are being annoying don't realize they're being annoying. Could that be you?
Keep a 10-foot (3 meter) distance between you and anyone else whenever you talk on your phone. No exceptions. Don't talk too loudly. Generally you don't have to shout in the microphone to be heard on the other end.Don't multi-task. Don't make calls while driving, shopping, banking, waiting in line, or doing pretty much anything that involves interacting with other human beings.
Don't talk on the phone in any enclosed spaces, even if you're more than 10 feet away from anyone. They can still hear you (because it's an enclosed space) and usually, they're forced to just sit there and listen.
* Bathrooms
* Elevators
* Waiting rooms
* Auditoriums
* Taxicabs
* Buses
* Trains
Don't even let your phone ring in any of the following settings:
* Meetings
* Libraries
* Museums
* Places of worship
* School
* Lectures
* During live performances
* Funerals
* Weddings
* Movie theaters
* Work Place
Don't use your phone when having a meal with someone. Ideally, you should turn it off entirely. If you're anticipating an important call, let the person you're with know beforehand that you're expecting a call that you'll need to take. No matter what, don't hold a conversation at the table; step away, follow Step 1, and don't stay away any longer than you would for a bathroom break. Never, ever text at the table, even if the conversation died down.Turn off your phone at the movie theater. Even if your phone is on vibrate, people can hear it during quiet parts of the movie. And even if they can't, the light from your phone's screen is very distracting. Don't check the time, don't check your text messages; just turn it off until the movie is over.
Learn to text. When you're in an enclosed space, or you can't put yourself 10 feet out of everyone's way, it's inappropriate to talk but it's acceptable to receive and send text messages. In such cases, keep the following rules of texting etiquette in mind: Use the vibrate feature instead of an audible text alert. Only text when you're standing still or sitting and out of anyone's way. Don't text while you walk or drive. Don't text while doing anything that requires you to be attentive. A good example would be while waiting at an intersection for the pedestrian signal. Don't text while at a meeting or conference when you should be attentive to the guest speaker.Don't discuss personal things while waiting at an airport - believe me, people can hear you and don't really want to know about your date last night!Be aware of people around you if you insist on talking on your cellphone whilst walking through the mall - please don't run into them!

A lot of children grow up badly and immaturely because of their parent's maturity. This article tells you how to not get into bad habits and raise your children well.
Don't drink a lot. The more you drink, the more your child will think it's okay to. It is fine to drink once in a while, but not a lot and when you do drink, drink only 1 bottle of beer. Don't swear. Swearing will get you know where and your kids will think that it's okay to swear at others.Don't use sexual language. Using sexual language is okay when you tell your children about sex or the facts of life, but in general don't talk like that. Your children will develop a habit of talking like that.
Never hit anyone or use violence on anyone. Sometimes kids grow up seeing their parents beating people or themselves. Then as they get older they think it's okay to beat someone up. Never use violence on ANYONE. Yelling sometimes is fine, but not a lot. Discipline them. When your kids do something wrong, use a punishment that fits the crime. For example if they hit someone, a good punishment would be for them to have a small time-out and take away their favorite things. If you do unreasonable or violent punishments, such as getting beaten, they will learn to do the same.Don't smoke. If your kids see you smoke sometimes, it is possible that if you do so too much in front of them, they could possibly try to smoke. They could get hurt and very sick from doing this, so be careful.
It is a good and smart idea to explain to your kids the difference between wrong and right. Telling them not to do things will make it clearer to them then if you just didn't do or say anything at all.

A little bit after lunch, I got a call from my daughter's school that she had an accident, she actually cut her middle fingertip with a scissor while making something for Valentines day. The nurse said that she need to be taken to the Dr. because her cut was kind of deep and it was bleeding so hard. I rush down to the school clinic and helped the nurse wrapped and put pressure on my daughter's hand so that the bleeding will slowed down. I rush her to the clinic down town Cashmere WA. Luckily they are not very busy and they took my daughter right in. The staffs cleaned her hand right away. Seeing your kids in pain was not fun at all. I tried real hard to calm my nerve down for my daughter's sake but watching the blood and the cut and how painful my daughter was going through was so tough for me that I was about to faint. I told the nurse and the Dr. that I was about to faint. They quickly set me down and gave me oranges juice to drink. I told my daughter's, instead of me comforting her....she will be comforting me.
On the other hand, after we got home from the Dr. I got two message from my son, that he needed me to bring him changing clothes for he slipped on the mud while they were playing at school after lunch. I was not sure if how long the messages was sitting there, but when I got to school, I saw my son waiting for me and he was covered with mud. Apparently the back of the middle school was so muddy and him and his friend did not expected that the back play ground was very muddy. After I dropped off my son's changing clothes , waited for him to give me his muddy clothes and rush back home. Good thing the middle school is just 2 blocks away from my house.
I guess today was just not the happy day for us. Hope tomorrow will be different, All I can do is hope anyway, because we never know what tomorrow will bring us!
A warm
