Are you looking for a special meal? Maybe something new? Asian Salmon Noodles is a wonderful option to spice up your meal. Not to mention, they don't take too long to prepare and cook!
Ingredients
* 1 Tbsp sesame oil
* 1 lb fresh or frozen salmon fillets, skin removed
* 2 Tbsp fresh grated ginger
* 2 Tbsp minced garlic
* 1 bunch green onions, sliced into 1/2 inch slices
* 1/2 cup soy sauce
* 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
* 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
* 1 tsp red pepper flakes (more or less depending on how spicy you want it)
* 1 lb cooked fettuccine or linguine
[edit] Steps
Heat oil on medium-high temperature heat in a large wok or skillet for 1 minute.
Add salmon, ginger and garlic to the oil.
Cook 2 minutes per side.
Add 1/2 of the green onions to the wok or skillet.
Reduce the heat to medium temperature and continue cooking 4 to 5 minutes longer.
Combine all the remaining ingredients except for the pasta.
Pour the sauce into salmon mixture, and continue to cook until the salmon flakes easily.
Break salmon up into bite size pieces.
Stir in the cooked pasta.
Remove the wok or skillet from heat and serve immediately.
This recipe is made to serve roughly 6 people. The recipe can easily be doubled for larger groups of people.
You can also add whatever other ingredients you like for extra flavoring including sliced water chestnuts, mushrooms, snow peas, etc.
